BP: After 2010 Gulf Oil Spill, Wins Back Ability To Bid On US Projects Again!


Deepwater Horizon was the biggest oil drilling accident in US history. It took until 2012 for BP to admitted guilt in the death of 11 workers in an explosion on a platform, the spill of millions of gallons of oil, and the contamination hundreds of miles of beaches. The company agreed to pay $4.5 billion compensation. 
 
This will allow BP to enter into new contracts with the US government, including in the Gulf of Mexico, meaning hundreds of millions of dollars of new business!
 
We cannot even use the fossil fuels we already have without going over the 2 degrees average global temperature. So why are we still searching for them other than plain greed?
