This smug b@sterd also known as Chief Superintendent Mark Roberts has hailed the 'professionalism' of officers in the face of anti-fracking campaigners who he says have ‘overstepped the mark’ during the Barton Moss protests.
He also said ''were doing a ‘fantastic’ job in keeping people safe while balancing the rights of the protesters and those of IGas'' AND ''Our primary concern is safety of people there. There have been no serious injuries there as yet.''!
Is he stupid or just plain ignorant! There has been many cases of people being injured and violently pushed around by the officers at Barton Moss including some of the mentioned on one of our earlier posts here. The police are not stuck in the middle, they are firmly on the same side as the corporations and will do and say anything in order to get the gas out of the ground whilst ruining the environment.
